Oh, don't be so negative! It fully died like ... a year ago ... .
These so called "retarded shitters" (+1 for vocabulary) are a consequence of the forum becoming more mainstream. What really caused the death of this forum is, like with a ton of other forums, people going to Discord. Discord killed public forums.
The community itself is also dying. This is a consequence of anti-cheats being generally harder to bypass, making cheating less fun for more people. The decent developers quitting and moving on, while new developers are prone to pasting because of how much "material" for skidding there is out there nowadays, which means that the only good clients left are those that are developed purely to make money (see haze.yt ...), and there being a ton of more full pastes (see myau, dog, slack, ...). Which then causes less people to stick around the community.
i mean yeah but it was still not "entirely" dead until recently honestly....
To be fair: it's been dead since 2021
