What is one of the best paid obfuscator to invest on? I was about to get Zelix, but I heard skidfuscator enterprise and JNIC are also good alternatives.

JNIC compiles to C, its not good to use for the whole thing, but rather use it on only a few classes or even better, a few methods. It’s quite resource-heavy. Combine JNIC with something like ZKM and Branchlock and you’ve got yourself a nicely protected jar file. Of course that is if you know how to config the obfuscators properly.

skidfuscator breaks any kind of reflection (including OptiFine from my experience) and is insanely heavy on performance. Max FPS I managed to get after stripping most reflection was 40 FPS.

That's a bummer. Essentially I'd need to only invest in one obfuscator and not buy any other for the moment. Would ZKM be sufficient alone without any layering?

look at opal :censored:

(they use zkm latest and get cracked every month practically)

zkm alone won't work.

Do you have any personal recommendation on what should I buy? Qprotect was recommended here, but I've also seen it get cracked some times before.
I use zelix + custom + some native obfuscation. haven't been cracked in a long time.

in all seriousness allatori isn't bad. id combine with sumth else tho. as like liticane said skidfuscator has HORRIBLE optimization, qprotect is probably the easiest to crack and most targeted by walmartsolutions, proguard HELL NO, and anything else is just mid

ok whatever y'all do do NOT use allatori.
back in the days when i was still kind of active allatori was the go to provider for extra security, what is the problem with allatori m8?

well there's full deobfuscators for it. entirely public and opensource as well. with zelix it's like mostly private, but here it's just too easy to deobfuscate it.

you don't need to invest in heavy obfuscation, write your own protection such as encrypting your jar file, to protect your code you can use proguard and simple string encryption to make code harder to read (if it is recovered and decompiled) although you shouldnt be afraid of your code being read, as long as your own unique protection is good you will be fine and I'm saying this from experience
